J. Scott Campbell

Is an American comic book artist. Though he has since done work for Marvel Comics (most notably as a cover artist on The Amazing Spider-Man), and the video game industry, he is best known as the original artist and co-creator of Gen13 and Danger Girl. He soon gained a reputation in the American comics industry for his highly sexualized illustrations of women.

Campbell exhibited his artistic talents early, drawing income from, um, drawing while he was still in high school. He moved to San Diego in 1993 and broke into the comics industry, making a huge splash with his very first book, GEN 13. He followed this up with yet another smash hit, Danger Girl, which is probably the work for which he's most widely known. As of 2005, his efforts seem concentrated on launching a third major book, Wildsiderz.
