Comic Con's "Artist's Alley" home to best illustrators, writers

Caitlin Murphy takes a look inside Comic Con at the Javits Center.
A fan favorite exhibit at New York's Comic Con this weekend is the Artist's Alley, which is home to 600 of the best graphic illustrators and writers.

Renowned Artist Leo Manco was creating werewolf ink drawings for fans to promote the latest edition of author John Carpenter's graphic novel Asylum.

In addition to Manco, on Saturday and Sunday Artist's Alley will feature Dan Slott, the current writer for Marvel's The Amazing SpiderMan and Silver Surfer books and Geoff John the Chief Creative Officer at DC Entertainment.

The exhibit offers fans an up close and personal chance to meet their favorite artists, creator, writers and illustrators and walk away with an original work of are or an autograph.

Comic Con is holding events through Sunday at the Javits Center in Manhattan. The show is sold out but a live stream is available at http://www.livestream.com/comiccon
